Sliema is renowned for its picturesque promenade lined with charming coffee shops, vibrant bars, and diverse restaurants. The area is a favorite among the expat community for long-term rentals, offering a variety of accommodations. The coastline is perfect for swimming, with numerous spots to enjoy the sea. Nearby, you'll find a shopping mall, branded stores, an ice cream parlour, a gym a massage parlour, and grocery store, all just steps away. The sea is conveniently located just across the street. For nightlife, Paceville, the bustling club district, is about a 35-minute walk away.The area is well-served by public transport, with frequent buses stopping right outside at 'Ghadir.' These buses head north to destinations like Mdina, Golden Bay, Mellieha Bay, Bugibba, and Cirkewwa for the Gozo ferry. In the opposite direction, they reach Valletta in about 25 minutes. During summer, each trip costs €2.50c, while in winter, it's €2.
A convenient alternative to reach Valletta is by taking a scenic ferry ride. Simply walk to the 'Ferries' area, which takes about 20 minutes, and catch a ferry that departs every 30 minutes.
